Deepdives: Antoinette Bouquet JSK II by BTSSB

First up in a little series i want to do looking at small details of the dresses i own, is Antoinette Bouquet II by BABYtssb. This dress was one of the first dressses i bought after getting a proper job and starting to really collect lolita pieces so its quite dear to me. I bought it 2nd hand for $110 usd on lacemarket.

<p>First up in a little series i want to do looking at small details of the dresses i own, is Antoinette Bouquet II by BABYtssb. This dress was one of the first dressses i bought after getting a proper job and starting to really collect lolita pieces so its quite dear to me. I bought it 2nd hand for $110 usd on lacemarket. <br /><img src="https://mikro.dreamwidth.org/file/767.jpg" /><br /><img</p> <p>The dress its self is in the black colour way with gorgeous art of sparkly flowery bouquets and ribbons on rows going up and down the dress. src="https://mikro.dreamwidth.org/file/907.jpg" </p> <p>around the back neckline and top of the sleeve cuff there fabric is edged with a very delicate looking scallop type lace that to me balances out the boldness of the heavy cotton lace and bow on the front bodice really nicely src="https://mikro.dreamwidth.org/file/1024.jpg" </p> <p>heres some print closeups, it seems like the print is a row of three different bouquets 1: a group of leaves and Feathers (?) with a baby emblem in the middle. the emblem its self its two Bs, one a light brown twig-ish design and the second a slightly larger floral B. src="https://mikro.dreamwidth.org/file/1456.jpg" </p> <p>2: a large floral bouquet, it seems to have roses, daisys, and marigolds in it, with ribbons expanding out from each four corners of the print, that reach up to the next floral bouquet on parallel rows. src="https://mikro.dreamwidth.org/file/1635.jpg" </p> <p>3: the third bouquet consists of a large ribbon bow with a sort of flower crown on top</p> <p>src="https://mikro.dreamwidth.org/file/1897.jpg" </p> <p>The dress, while it has no lining, is 100% cotton so it is very comfortable and breathable. it includes partial back shirring and corset lacing.</p> <p>src="https://mikro.dreamwidth.org/file/2083.jpg" </p> <p>the lace on the front neckline of the bodice travels down the front of the dress aswell as reaches around the front of the dress to mid-armpit where it stops at the zipper/seam.</p> <p>lace closeup: src="https://mikro.dreamwidth.org/file/2317.jpg" </p> <p>thats all from me for now about this dress, feel free to comment questions, and thank you for reading!</p>
